Garden Blessing in the Buddist Tradition

Knowledge for Spiritual Living Community Center has been in existance for only11 months, during which we have painted inside the property and landscaped the garden lifting it up to be a beautiful community center.

We are thrilled to announce the Garden Blessing on the weekend of November 22 at 1:00pm

The Garden will receive a blessing in the Buddist Tradition, during the blessing tiny insects Crickets, ect will be released.

This is a family festival of life, there will be a childrens art competion. and Pets are most welcome.

We offer spiritual healing for pets.

Vegetarian Food will be available
as will Psychic Readings, 15 min Chair Massages,

We have a beautiful Gift Shop, with wonderful Calendars, Journals, crystals, incense and much more also a very useful Thrift Shop, which supports our homeless.

Natural Law - Karma

Knowledge for Spiritual Living Group meets every Monday night.

We recently discussed the all too familiar word Karma

All too frequently when something doesn't quite go the way it should a person may be told "well that's Karma for you," with little or no recognition of Natural Law.

Perhaps the first thing that should be learned as we begin our Spiritual Journey is Natural Law.
Natural Law is Gods Law.
Unchangeable, Unfaltering, Predictable

If I claim to be a Spiritual healer but place my hand in the fire, it will get burned
and that is simply Natural Law, and not Karma

Man tries to change everything he can get his hands on but

The seasons follow seasons and always will, Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Fall
The birds don't try to fly they just fly
The grass doesn't try to grow it just grows
and man can never turn back the tide.

One devout Christian lady was heard to say she didn't water her garden because God would!
when her lawn died she declared, It is Gods will for me not to have a garden
She had failed to do her part and so it died, simply 'Natural Law'

Some greedy Gentlemen farmers in England tried to make their sheep lamb twice a year, they lost heavily, both in the time spent nursing the sheep, often through the bitter cold night, and the loss of both sheep and lambs.
An attempt to break the unfailing 'Natural Law'

A lady stood on a short stool to reach for something on a high shelf, with the effect that she lost her balance, fell backward and seriously damaged her back. She was confined to bed, rest and therapy for six months.

This lady was extremely active and was due to have taken a trip to talk at a spiritual convention. Many people made sympathetic comments such as....You know perhaps you were not meant to go, and others said maybe it's Karma.

lets take a look, the stool was too short, the shelf out of reach, this created the body to be off balance, and the stool tippled over with painful consequences. Natural Law.

Take time to read such books as Natural Law in the Spirit World by Henry Drummond
and The Debatable Land between this World and the Next by Robert Dale Owen

Natural Law is perfect, it is harmony with all of nature, flowing throughout the universe.

As we quench our thurst for knowledge, so our pathway will illuminate.

Honor Your Temple

Your daily life is your temple and your religion.

Whenever you enter into it take with you your all.

Take the plough and the forge and the mallet and the lute,
The things you have fashioned in necessity or for delight.

For in revery you cannot rise above your
achievements nor fall lower than your failures.

And take with you all men:

For in adoration you cannot fly higher than their hopes nor humble
yourself lower than their despair.

And if you would know God
be not therefore a solver of riddles.

Rather look about you and you shall see
Him playing with your children.

And look into space; you shall see Him
walking in the cloud, outstretching
His arms in the lightning and descending in rain.

You shall see Him smiling in flowers,
then rising and waving His hands in trees.

The Prophet

Your words, your dreams

Your words, your dreams, and your thoughts have power to create conditionsin your life.

What you speak about, you can bring about.

If you keep saying you can't stand your job, you might lose your job.

If you keep saying you can't stand your body, your body can become sick.

If you keep saying you can't stand your car, your car could be stolen or
just stop operating.

If you keep saying you're broke, guess what? You'll always be broke.

If you keep saying you can't trust a man or trust a woman, you will always
find someone in your life to hurt and betray you.

If you keep saying you can't find a job, you will remain unemployed.

If you keep saying you can't find someone to love you or believe in you,
your very thought will attract more experiences to confirm your beliefs.

If you keep talking about a divorce or break up in a relationship, then you
might end up with it.

Turn your thoughts and conversations around to be more positive and power
packed with faith, hope, love and action.

Don't be afraid to believe that you can have what you want and deserve.

Watch your Thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your Habits, they become character.
Watch your Character, for it becomes your Destiny.

The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you
settle for.

Thought I would share this with you.

I command All of the Electrical and Magnetic Energy in My Body to Rise to the Vibrational Level of Cosmic Conciousness and Merge, then with Increased Energy from Cosmic Energy, Return to My Physical Body.


I command all of my organs and each cell of my body to accept this New and God Given Energy and to work together harmoniously with it, Flooding my body with energy and Good Health, my mind with useful Knowledge, My Soul with Spiritual food, and in return i give Part of Myself Daily, in Service in some way to My Brother Man.

Why we chose the Phoenix for our symbol

The Phoenix symbolizes immortality,resurrection, and life after death. Depictions of a phoenix have appeared in Egyptian, Greek, Hindu, and Chinese art and writings for a very long time. It also later appeared in medieval Christian writings as a symbol of death and resurrection. Its flight has been said to represent the capacity to leave the world and its problems behind, flying towards the sun in clear blue skies.

The Healing Prayer and Honoring of Ones Self

Honoring yourself is a deceiving concept. To many, it may mean that you are to glorify the ego, or justify some act that may be considered reprehensible or a simple self-gratification.

But, lets look closer at the notion of honoring yourself and what it really means.

Could it be that we are to honor the inner child, the yearning thirst for personal growth or that little voice in our heads that tells us that we are to do more spiritually, seek more spiritually with the results of greater spiritual growth.

Maybe it should begin here:

Ask the great unseen healing force to remove all obstructions from our mind and body and to restore us to perfect health. Ask this in all sincerity and honesty and commit to doing your part. Ask this great unseen healing force to help both present and absent ones who are in need of help and to restore them to perfect health and then, put your trust in the love and power of God

Everyone Has a Dream

Every one has a dream.

Mine was always to share my love of life, its journey, and the thrill of walking the divine pathway, with spirit as my guiding light and God my tireless companion.

Sadness, joy, hurdles, up hill-downhill, set backs and running like the wind, are all a part of the thrilling blend of life.

My mother would say 'ours is not to question why' and there but for the grace of God go I. I have since learned that to step back a little and giving life the reigns as a trusted steed, will always smooth out our journey.

My dream was realized on March 19 when the first Knowledge for Spiritual Living group met in the Spiral Circle annex.

My journey has been long and hard and, had I been exposed to groups like this I would have progressed much faster.

Sharing knowledge, helping one another and having the time to listen--- oh if we would only listen! We would reach this beautiful spiritual attainment to enjoy the life we have been given.
